These terms govern your use of NNB (Nearby Business Network), operated at nearnbuy.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. What NNB is
NNB is a directory that helps consumers find products that nearby shops have in stock right now. We do not sell goods, hold inventory, deliver, or process payments. Every transaction happens offline, directly between the consumer and the shop.
2. User obligations
- Provide an accurate phone number when signing in via OTP.
- If you are a merchant, provide accurate shop information including name, address, and category.
- Do not abuse the flag / report system with false or malicious submissions.
- Do not list illegal goods or services, or items prohibited under the laws of Pakistan or India.
- Do not upload photos you do not have the right to use, or that infringe anyone's copyright or trademark.
3. Shop owner responsibilities
If you list a shop on NNB, you are the seller of record for any transaction that follows. You are responsible for:
- Verifying your own product listings — their accuracy, descriptions, and photos.
- Keeping prices and in-stock status current. Stale listings undermine trust in the platform.
- Responding to flag reports and content disputes within a reasonable time.
- Complying with all applicable local laws — consumer protection, tax, labelling, licensing, and any sector-specific rules (pharmacy, food, electronics, etc.).
4. Limitation of liability
NNB is a directory, not a marketplace. We make no warranty about the accuracy of any shop listing, the quality of any product, or whether an item shown as "in stock" is actually available when you arrive. Consumers are responsible for verifying availability, price, and condition on arrival at the shop. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NNB is not liable for any loss arising out of an offline transaction between a consumer and a shop.
5. Termination
We may suspend or remove a shop that violates these terms or abuses the platform — for example, repeated stale listings, flag-system abuse, or listing prohibited goods. Consumers may delete their account at any time by emailing privacy@nearnbuy.com (see the Privacy Policy for details).
6. Governing law and jurisdiction
For users in Pakistan, these terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi.
For users in India, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru.
Nothing in these terms limits the consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to the contact address on file for merchants, and by a notice on this page for consumers. Continued use of NNB after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
